Progress in Research on Amino Acids as Corrosion Inhibitors in Acid Solutions

Amino acids are non-toxic,biodegradable,relatively cheap and easy to produce with purities higher than 99％.Researches on corrosion inhibition and involved mechanism of amino acid inhibitors in acid media at home and abroad are reviewed.The prospects of the development trend are also disscussed.
