Anti-corrosion Technology of Fluorine Resin for Alumina Evaporator

In order to solve the problem of stress corrosion cracking in alumina evaporator, fluorine resin coating prepared by electrostatic spraying was used. The slow strain rate test(SSRT) and fracture morphology test were used to study the coated and uncoated samples. The results showed that the stress corrosion susceptibility index of coated samples was significantly lower than that of the uncoated samples and the coated samples exhibited no obvious corrosive signs. Fluorine resin coating used in the anticorrosion for alumina evaporator was proved to be suitable by the tests.
