Application of Expert Systems for Corrosion and Protection

This article introduces some basic questions of corrosion and protection,the purpose of building corrosion and protection expert systems and the development and present situation about corrosion and protection expert systems.The emphasis is focused on three corrosion expert systems,i.e.,corrosion damage case analysis expert system,corrosion failure mode diagnosis and forecast expert system,and expert system of standardization management for corrosion and protection in refinery.
