    Diffusion Behaviors of Water and Chloride Ion through UV-cured Coatings Modified by Nano-montmorillonite

    • Diffusion behaviors of UV-cured coatings modified by nano-montmorillonite(nano-MMT)were investigated by using static immersion method.The effects of addition amount of nano-MMT,the weight ratio of epoxy acrylate(EA)to reactive diluents(AD)and the curing degree of the UV-cured coating on the behavior of medium permeation were analyzed.The results showed that the diffusion behavior of permeation medium conformed to Fick diffusion law in early stage,and then the water percolating capacity was constant.The diffusion coefficient of permeation medium through UV-cured coatings could be obtained by correlative formula.The medium permeation behavior in the coatings was mainly determined by the curing degree and ratio of WEA to WAD.The resistance of the coatings to medium permeation increased with increase of curing degree and ratio of WEA to WAD.
