Progress of Chromium-free Passivation of Galvanized Steel Sheet

In this paper, the developing status of the non-chrome passivation technology is reviewed, including the inorganic way, organic way and combined way of above two ways, and the differences among the above three ways is analyzed in detail. The development trend of non-chrome passivation technology is prospected. It is pointed out that the inorganic phytic acid compound passivation technology, characterized by its non-toxin, non-pollution and better resistance to corrosion, will be one of the mainstream development orientations of non-chrome possivation undoubtedly.
