    Effect of RE on Industrial Atmospheric Corrosion Resistance of Low Carbon Steel

    • The corrossion resistance of carbon steel containing RE and normal Q235 carbon steel were studied by means of cycle immersion corrosion tests,SEM,polarization curves and EIS under the condition of simulating industrial atmospheric environment.The results showed that RE addition could improve the corossion resistance of the carbon steel due to the chemical modification of inclusions and corrosion inhibition of RE.
