INHIBITION EFFECT OF Na2PO3F ON CORROSION OF REINFORCING STEEL IN SIMULATED CONCRETE PORE SOLUTION

    • The inhibition effect of Na2PO3F on reinforcing steel corrosion was investigated by electrochemical polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in simulated pore solution. The cathodic reaction of steel electrode was suppressed and passive region current density of anodic process was depressed. It acted as a mixing type inhibitor in concrete. The electrochemical reaction can be suppressed by forming a desposition film in the steel/concrete interface, which retards the attack by aggressive Cl-.
