Corrosion Resistance of 30CrMo Alloy with Surfacing Welding of Inconel 625 Nickel Alloy in Hydrogen Sulfide Saturated Solution

In order to solve the strong corrosion problem of the oil and gas wellhead equipment in high-sulfur medium, taking 30CrMo alloy as the oil extraction tree valve chest or the valve cover material, two layers of Inconel 625 nickel alloy were welded on 30CrMo alloy, and full-immersion corrosion experiment was carried out to determine the corrosion rate. The results showed that the corrosion rate of the Inconel 625 nickel alloy was about 1/8 of 30CrMo steel. Inconel 625 nickel alloys have good anti-sulfur element corrosion performance.
