Abstract
A kind of heterocyclic bi-quaternary ammonium salt (BQA) was successfully synthesized with quinoline as matrix and 1,4-dichlorobenzyl as link agent respectively and characterized by IR spectrum.Weight loss measurement,potentiodynamic polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were used to evaluate the corrosion inhibition performance of BQA in a high temperature acid solution.The EIS experiment results showed that the heterocyclic compound behaved with an obvious absorption-desorption inductance circle and escaped from anode in low frequancy range.Other experiments showed that it had effective corrosion inhibition performance that can be enhanced if the escape sensitivity can be depressed.
