Abstract

The protective coating of buried steel pipelines plays a main role in anticorrosion.In order to offer more reliable basis for project practice of pipelines,it is very important to study the assessment of petroleum pitch coating failure.The failure forms,causes and methods to appraise petroleum pitch coatings are summarized in the present paper.
