    Anti-corrosion Performance of Solid Rocket Engine Ignition Contact

    • The corrosion of some solid rocket engine (SRE) ignition contact increased the resistance of igniter and thus made the igniter failed. After theory study of corrosion, a protective agent was used to protect the silver layer and metal. The electrical, vulcanization and salt spray tests were used to verify the performance of the protective agent. The results showed that the protective agent did not increase the contact resistance, but could increase the anti-corrosion of ignition contact.
