    CORROSION BEHAVIOR AND MECHANISM OF Al2O3 FIBER REINFORCED ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE WIRES

    • The corrosion behavior and mechanism of Al2O3 fiber reinforced aluminium composite wires(AF/Al wires) were studied by corrosion tests and microscopy in three kinds of solution(3.5%NaCl,0.05mol/L diluted HCl and 1%Na2CO3 respectively) and in three states(primary state,hot exposure and thermal cycle respectively).The influence of heat treatment on the corrosion behavior of AF/Al wires was also discussed.
