Properties of Alkyd Resin Coatings Modified by Organic Silane/Polyurethane

A composite modified alkyd resin was prepared by organic silane and polyurethane.The effects of dewaterpretreatment,reaction time of component A and the A/B ratio on the film properties were studied.The results showthat the drying time of the paint after water removal process was longer;extending the reaction time of part A canimprove the salt water resistance and glossiness of the film.When the ratio of A/B was 1∶1,the film showed goodadhesion and salt water resistance.
