    • Modern analytical and measuring techniques provide a powerful tool for the evaluation of coating performance, which makes the fast and effective evaluation for coating performance possible. But it is lacking to inspect and evaluate the capability of anticorrosive coatings of buried pipelines rapidly and effectively in the field. It is possible to evaluate buried pipelines rapidly and effectively by establishing the correspondence between the laboratory analysis results and the data from field testing with combining the methods existing for inspection and analysis.
