Simulation of AC Steady Interference of High Voltage Lines on Buried Pipelines

    • AC interference caused by HVAC transmission lines sharing the same corridor with buried pipelines can produce the unsafe operation of protection and measuring systems of the pipelines. In order to study it, the influences of AC steady interference on buried pipelines due to HV lines were simulated, computed and analyzed, using SESTLC software. The study was commenced from three aspects-parameters of pipelines, parameters of high voltage lines, and parameters between pipelines and HV lines. Through the software simulation and the result analysis, the influence of each parameter was obtained, which would provide reference for pipeline and power specialists.
