    Influence of Oxidiation Treatment on Corrosion Resistance of SiCp/Al Composites

    • Silicon carbide particles (SiCp) were oxidized at 1 100 ℃,SiCp/Al composites was prepared. The effect of oxidization time of SiCp on the corrosion resistance of the SiCp/Al composites was studied using immersion experiment,SEM,weight loss method and electrochemical testing. The results showed that SiO2 layer was formed,the oxidation layer could restrain the harmful interface reaction and delayed the formation of easily hydrolyzed Al4C3,and thus improved the corrosion resistance of SiCp/Al composites.
