EFFECT OF ALKALI CLEANING ON STRESS CORROSION CRACKING OF EQUIPMENT IN PTA UNIT

Catalyst regeneration of hydrogenating reactor in PTA unit must be alkali cleaned at high temperatcure with out stop.Causes of stress corrosion cracking in stainless steel equipment by alkali cleaning at high temperature is discussed.And protective recommendation is presented.
