Inhibition Behavior of Water Soluble Chitason Compounds with Other Inhibitive Components

    • Molybdate, chromate and zinc sulfate are recognized as the best inhibitors at present. In order to test the inhibition type of chitason and the synergistic inhibition performance of its compounds, and the possibility for using the water soluble chitosan as a component of corrosion inhibitor, the corrosion inhibition performance of chitosan compounds with(NH+4)2MoO4、ZnSO4 and Na2CrO4 was studied. The results indicate that(NH+4)2MoO4 is not suitable to compound with chitason because of serious co-floculation phenomenon;ZnSO4 compounds with chitason can reduce corrosion current density and raise inhibition efficiency, but a little flocculates still appear, and more flocculates appears at higher temperatures.Na2CrO4 compounded with chitason can produces better synergistic inhibition performance and no flocculates appear at normal temperature or high-temperature of 60 ℃,which can reduce the environmental pollution and is suitable for compoundation.
