    Corrosion Control Technology of Long-term Mooring Submarine Freeboard

    • The corrosion resistance of steel in ballast water tank was studied using nitrogen filling anticorrosion technology. The results showed that nitrogen filling technology can reduce the oxygen concentration to less than 2% in the air in tank and remove the dissolved oxygen in water at the same time, and thus reduce the steel corrosion rate in gas phase and underwater greatly. The service life of steel can be prolonged by 2.4 times.
