ANODIC OXIDATION OF THE TOP SURFACE OF PISTONS WITH HIGH CURRENT DENSITY

    • An anodic oxidation process with high current density was developed for high speed film forming on the top surface of piston. The film thickness was 107 μm as the current density was 5.5~8 A/dm2.The corrosion resistance of the film was improved greatly by a new nano sealing treatment. This process has been applied widely in anodic oxidation for pistons. The productivity was increased up to 3 times as before.
