EFFECTS OF MICROELEMENTS ON ELECTROLYSIS PROPERTIES OF 1050 ALUMINIUM SUBSTRATE PS PLATE

    • The effects of microelements on the electrolysis properties of 1050 aluminium substrate PS plate were investigated by means of electrochemical testing and SEM(EDX).The difference of corrosion rate and uniformity of the PS plates with different contents of Mg and Mn was compared. When the content of Mg increased from 0.001% to 0.10%,Mg was enriched more to the surface of aluminum plate and formed fine compound-oxide grains, resulting in accelerated corrosion. With the increase of content of Mn,the distribution uniformity of Mg at the surface of plate was improved, the of Fe in the surface decreased, the damage of Fe to the corrosion uniformity of PS plate was reduced.
