    Anti-corrosion of Air-cooled Condensers Using Alkalizer Ethanolamine

    • With an increasing number of air-cooled units putting into operation in recent years, the corrosion problem of air-cooled condensers is increasingly outstanding during operation. The inhibition mechanism of alkalizers of ethanolamine and ammonia for the condenser tubing was studied by electrochemical method with a dynamic simulation experiment set. A comparison study was made to investigate the anticorrosion ability of alkalizers with different pH and different steam moisture and the relevant dosages at the same pH. The experimental results show that alkalizer of ethanolamine has an excellent inhibition property for air-cooled condensers and can replace ammonia.
