    Research Progress in pH Stabilizers for Control of Wet CO2 Corrosion of Pipelines

    • Addition of pH stabilizers into subsea pipelines is an effective way to control the wet CO2 corrosion in the pipelines. The pH stabilizers have been successfully applied to some deepwater gas fields abroad, while in China the related research just begins. The application status in foreign countries, the evaluation test results and the mechanism of pH stabilizer against CO2 corroion are reviewed. The article may be helpful to the further research and application of pH stabilizers.
