    ANSYS Simulation of Buried Pipelines under DC Stray Current Condition

    • With the development of transportation and the improvement of electrical facilities, the influence of stray current on buried pipelines is becoming more and more serious. Furthermore, the buried pipeline with cathodic protection can generate stray current which affects the near pipelines greatly. Electromagnetic simulation function of ANSYS software was used to analyze the influence law on the electric field and electrode potential near the pipeline with different angles and different distances. This may provides a basis for the further research of the buried pipeline corrosion under stray current condition.
