    Performance of Corrosion Inhibitor in High Temperature Multi-component Thermal Fluid

    • Multi-component thermal fluid exploitation enhanced the recovery factor of thick oil greatly in Bohai Oilfield, but also caused severe corrosion of oil tubes. Corrosion inhibitor COSL-1 was developed to prevent the corrosion with good result in oil well. The inhibition performance of COSL-1 was investigated by weight loss and polarization curves. The inhibition efficiency can reach 95% in simulated solution with 2 MPa CO2 and 0.02 MPa O2 at 90 ℃. Electrochemical tests show that inhibitor COSL-1 belongs to mixed-type inhibitor and prohibits the corrosion anodic process principally, and the adsorption behavior of the inhibitor on steel N80 obeys the Langmuir isothermal equation.
