Design of Cathodic Protection for Subsea Production System in Deepwater

The influence and interaction of dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, sea current, pressure, fouling and calcareous deposits in deep seawater on the cathodic protection for subsea production system are reviewed. Overseas and domestic research status on the cathodic protection for steel materials in deep seawater is summarized. Some parameters of the deep seawater cathodic protection design are introduced, the design of a cathodic protection is analyzed. The development direction is discussed.
