    Influence of Temperature Gradient on the Performance of Hard Anodizing Film on Al Alloy

    • The hard anodic oxidation film on 6061 aluminum alloy sheet surface was prepared by a self-made hard anodic oxidation device under the conditions of large temperature gradient along the direction of aluminum matrix. The oxide film morphology, hardness and thickness were observed and analyzed. The results showed that after hard anodizing the aluminium sheet the film quality was greatly improved, the thickness, hardness and uniformity of hard anodic oxide film prepared with temperature gradient method were far superior to that of the traditional hard anodic oxide film.
