Abstract
Laser Raman spectroscopy,SEM and EDX were used to study the corrosion behavior of BFe30-1-1 copper-nickel alloy pipes exposed to marine atmosphere for 20 years.CuO,α-Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 were detected in the surface corrosion products.NiO and Cl- were detected when the corrosion products were removed by quartz glass. After removing corrosion products by acid,Cu2O,FeO,γ-Fe2O3 and much C were detected. The atmospheric corrosion of cupronickel could be well analyzed by using Laser Raman spectroscopy and EDX together.
