Influence of Some Filmogens on Antirust Properties of Antirust Water for Ferrous Metal

Using compounds of anhydrous sodium carbonate and triethanolamine or anhydrous sodium carbonate and sodium nitrite as corrosion inhibitor,and sesbania gum,fenugreek gum,mixed alcohol and so on as filmogen,the eleven kinds of formulas were selected by analyzing the compatibility and film forming ability.The results of atmospheric exposure test and damp heat test showed that the effect of filmogen on antirust property of antirust water was considerable.The optimal formula of antirust water was composed of 1% compound filmogen,6% sodium nitrite and 0.4% anhydrous sodium carbonate.
