    • The flue gas desulfurization(FGD) technology used in thermal power plants is growing popularly and the flue gas in stacks is strongly corrosive, so that the corrosion protection of stacks becomes more and more important. Constructive comments of stack corrosion protection are proposed after analyzing corrosion environments, operating environments, and applications of anticorrosion materials in stacks and factors of design for stack protection.
