    Effects of Sn Content on Sn-Ni Alloy Coating Properties

    • Sn-Ni alloy coating was prepared on the surface of Mg alloy by means of electrodeposition. The effects of Sn content on Sn-Ni alloy coating structure, surface morphology, corrosion resistance and hardness were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and hardness testing. The results showed that the coating with 62.5% Sn had the best surface morphology, corrosion resistance and hardness.
