Analyses of Cracking Promoted by Martensite in Sub-stable Austenitic Stainless Steel

On the basis of examples of stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embritelement in sub-stable austenitic stainless steels in chemical and petrochemical equipment, hydrogen induced cracking and stress corrosion cracking promoted by deformation martensite were analyzed.
