Potential Distribution at the Steel Tank Bottom in Yaha Loading South Station

For the corrosion at the bottom of the steel tank in Yaha loading south station and the difficulty for measuring the center potential of the tank after applying cathodic protection, a protective potential distribution model at the tank bottom was established. The potential difference between special positions and the bottom center in Yaha loading south station was aralyzed. The results showed that the potentials at the edge and the bottom of the tank were not the same, the potential difference of them was great. According to the distribution of potential difference, the potential at the center of the tank bottom should reach the protection status in the processes of design and production.
