Abstract
Medium to high silicon steels may produce “Sandelin effect” in the process of hot dipping, resulting in bad binding force and easy peeling off of the coating. Repeated experiments show that the addition of a special polybasic alloy to the zinc bath with the application of oscillator in the process of hot dipping can prohibit the occurrence of the “sandelin effect”.
