Performance of Solvent-free Epoxy Antistatic Coating

Abstract
Taking four kinds of conductive fillers as research objectives, the factors such as filler type, size, adding proportion and dispersion morphology which affect the performance of solvent-free epoxy antistatic coating were analyzed by means of surface resistivity measurement, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Fourier infrared spectrum. The results indicated that with the increase of adding proportion of conductive fillers, the antistatic performance of the epoxy coating improved, but other properties were lost to some extent. The smaller the size of conductive filler, the better the antistatic performance.
