    Influence of Curing Temperature on Curing Behavior and Properties of Epoxy Primer for Joint Coating

    • The curing process of epoxy primer cured at different temperaturs was studied by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) method. The influences of curing temperature on adhesion and anti-cathodic disbonding performance of coatings were investigated, and the resistance of coatings to water penetration was evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results showed that the curing of epoxy primer was greatly influenced by curing temperature and curing time. Adhesion and anti-cathodic disbonding performance decreased with the increase of curing temperature, however, the resistance to water penetration was less influenced by curing temperature.
