    Corrosion Resistance of Steels Used for Crude Oil Storage Tank in Different Acid Salt Solutions

    • Corrosion resistance of crude oil storage tank steels in four kinds of acid salt solutions was investigated in simulated environment by corrosion potential, linear polarization and immersion test. The results show that compared with contast material AH32, the corrosion resistance of the tested steels was more excellent in acid and neutral salt solutions. Especially in strong acid salt solution, the tested steels showed good corrosion resistance. The corrosion rate of the tested steels was only quarter to one-third of that of AH32.
