A Study on Oxide Film of Aluminum Anode Using Rotary Cylinder Electrode

    • The oxide film of aluminum anode in 4m mol/L NaOH was studied using rotary cylinder electrode and EIS etc.The research showed that pure aluminum could form a very thin single oxide film without polarization. The oxide film falled off quickly when rotate speed was up.The oxide film became double layers after polarization. The double layers included inner layer and outer layer. The inner layer combined with aluminum substrate closely and did not fall off.The outer layer was loose and easy to fall off when the electrode was running. The aluminum alloy could not form a steady oxide film ance. The rotating speed had little infection on the film.
