    Metal Corrosion Inhibitors in Chlorine Dioxide Solution

    • Aiming at the metal corrosion problem in chlorine dioxide disinfection system,the corrosion inhibition property of sodium fluosilicate,sodium molybdate and HEDP on A3 steel was studied by static weight-loss method in the chlorine dioxide solution of 100 mg/L and 50 mg/L,pH=6,at room temperature.The possible inhibition mechanism and optimal concentration were analyzed.The results showed that sodium fluosilicate,sodium molybdate and HEDP had good inhibition effect,sodium fluosilicate was better than sodium molybdate,especially HEDP had the best inhibitiion effect.
