Automatic Rating Method of Coating Corrosion Appearance Grade

The computer image recognition technique in the evaluation of nickel coating corrosion appearance grade is introduced.The preparation of typical coating corrosion samples and common frame of grey histogram-based image retrieval are presented.A new distance calculation method based on Earth Movers Distance (EMD) is discussed.The corrosion images in different illumination conditions were put to simulation test,and the coating corrosion appearance grade was obtained based on automatic rating method.
