Preparation of Different Cell Sizes of Porous Anodic Film

Abstract
Anodic aluminum membrane (AAM) was prepared by adding the additive into oxalic and phosphoric acid solution. The morphology of AAM was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The effects of different electrolytic compositions on the size of AAM cells were studied. Porous aluminum films were obtained by adding the additive in oxalic and phosphoric acid solution within 60~500 V oxide voltage, and the largest cell size was 1.3 μm. The cell size increased linearly with the increase of the oxidation voltage.
