    Applicability of External Corrosion Detection Technologies for Buried Steel Pipelines

    • Several external corrosion detection technologies for buried steel pipelines, such as AC voltage gradient measurement(ACVG), DC voltage gradient measurement(DCVG) and close interval potential measurement(CIPS), are introduced. Different external corrosion detection technologies were used for the buried steel pipelines between 6#~9# test stations of Dongyin initial station and the pipelines of Qiaozhuang station. During the practical application, the problems existing in the application process and the reliability of the detection results were compared and the applicability of the different technologies was acquired, which can be reference to the external detection for buried steel pipelines.
