Abstract
The corrosion properties of Mo-30W alloy in molten zinc under three working conditions of hot dip galvanizing were studied by factory test. The results show that the temperature of molten zinc is an important factor causing corrosion. When the temperature is higher, the corrosion is quicker. The Al in molten zinc reacts with Mo-30W, which is the main reason causing corrosion. The factors influencing the service life of heaters in working conditions, include the temperature of hot dip galvanizing process, impurities in molten zinc, structure of heating pipe, power of heating and quality of Mo-30W alloy.
