    Effects of Nb on Industrial Atmospheric Corrosion Resistance of 09CuPRe Weathering Steel

    • Cycle infiltrating accelerated corrosion test, potentiodynamic polarization curve, EIS and SEM were used to compare the corrosion resistance of the 09CuPRe weathering steel with different Nb contents in the simulated industrial atmospheric environment. The results show that increasing the content of Nb in the steel can reduce the weathering steels corrosion rate, improve the corrosion potential E0, reduce the anodic current density, and increase the rust layer resistance and charge transfer resistance of the steel. 09CuPRe weathering steel added with Nb can improve the corrosion resistance.
