Corrosion Property Evaluation of Three Arc-sprayed Alloy Coatings in Daqing Region Soil

Zn coating, Zn-Al alloy coating and Zn-Al pseudo alloy coating were prepared on ductile cast iron with arc spraying technology. The corrosion of the three arc-sprayed alloy coatings in Daqing region soil was studied by buried specimens. The macrography and microscopic appearance were observed. The analysis of the corrosion products was carried out using EDS and XRD. The results show that the corrosion resistance of the three arc-sprayed alloy coatings decreases sequentially in the order of Zn-Al alloy coating, Zn-Al pseudo alloy coating, Zn coating in Daqing region soil.
