    Development and Application of Ambient Cured Anti-corrosion Fluorocarbon Coatings

    • Fluorocarbon coatings have excellent anti-corrosion and anti-scale properties.A double component ambient cured anti-corrosion fluorocarbon coating was prepared by using fluoroethylene-vinyl-ether copolymer (FEVE) as the substrate,mixed with N-75 curing agent,EFKA-3777 rheological agent,BYK-A 560 defoamer and other additives.The surface morphology of coatings were characterized by SEM.The results showed that when the dosage of fluoroethylene-vinyl-ether copolymer was 100 g,EFKA-3777 1.2 g and BYK-A 56′0 0.8 g,the coating had the best comprehensive properties.The coating applied to H2SO4 tanks had good anti-corrosion effect.
