    CORROSION RESSISTANCE OF ANODIZED AND SEALED ALUMINUM IN NaCl SOLUTION

    • The electrochemical behaviors of anodized and sealed aluminum(L3) in NaCl solution were studied by measurements of potentiodynamic polarization,open-circuit-potential and EIS.The anodic oxidization of aluminum increasesd its corrosion resistance greatly.Different sealing methods had different influences on corrosion behavior of the anodized material sealed in different solutions.Corrosion resistance increased in the following order:no sealing < water sealing < dichromate sealing < nickel fluoride sealing.But there was a self-sealing process for the anodic oxidization films sealed in dichromate solution.
