Corrosion of L360 Pipeline Steel Used in Puguang Gas-field Gathering and Transportation System

The corrosion behavior and mechanical properties (yield strength, impact strength, elongation, hardness, fracture toughness) of L360 used for two years in high sour environment of Puguang gas-field were investigated. The results showed that pitting corrosion and hydrogen-induced cracking were observed in L360 steel. But there was little change for the mechanical properties and anti-SSC performance of L360 steel. L360 steel can be applied to high sour gas-field gathering system.
