Abstract
Corrosion behaviors of four steels in CO2-saturated NaCl solution were studied by weight-loss method.The general corrosion rates of steels 16Mn,X60 and 20# were low,but their pitting corrosion was more likely to occur.The initial corrosion rate of steel X70 was two or three times higher than that of steels 16Mn,X60 and 20#,but the pitting corrosion rate of X70 was lower.The corrosion rate of steel X70 gradually decreased with progress of the test.The analysis of metallurgical microstructure was used to explain the difference in corrosion behaviors.
