    Configuration Characters of Aero Aluminum Alloy Corrosion Pit

    • LD2 aluminum alloy was choosen as research object in order to analyze the configuration character of aero aluminum alloy corrosion pit in airport environment, and accelerated corrosion test in simulated airport environment was carried out to obtain the corrosion pit configuration parameters, then the fractal dimension of corrosion pit configuration parameters in different equivalent corrosion years was analyzed through fractal theory. The results indicate that the fractal dimension of corrosion pit configuration parameters increased rapidly in initial corrosion stage, so the variance ratio of fractal dimension was relatively great. In the middle and later corrosion stages, the fractal dimension of corrosion depth trended to be stable, to the contrary, the fractal dimensions of corrosion length and width decreased because of the corrosion pit mergence, and during this corrosion period,the corrosion pit configuration of aluminum alloy could be equivalent to half sphere or half spheroid.
